The Terrors
of Teras

(An Introductory Guide to the Creatures of Teras Isle)
Cross the waves is an Isle they
call Teras
to walk on its shores is a menace
if the lizards and shoots
aren't enough for your boots
then the devils will soon make you grimace.
A dust cloud they raise, dont you
see
full of sticks, stones and velocity
if they hit in your head
then you'll soon end up dead
and the devils will cackle with glee.
If it's bugs ye be looking to find
then you'll have to go into the mines
the Workers are there
in the Kiramon lair
with Defenders not too far behind.
Neath the crypt in the village
near town
the Banshees all gather around
with a shriek and a scream
they will throw up a screen
that wards spells and burns your mana down.
In a gully the Wind wraiths appear
stealing spirit points if they get near
if you go down too young
then you'll soon lie there stunned
and your shrouds will be stripped with the fear.
Past the Wraiths lie the Golems of Soul
to release them is each Volner's goal
but a mage can forget it
as each spell is deflected
or absorbed like a great big black hole.
If you seek more adventure and
fame
the volcano has creatures of flame
where the lava does flow
and the floor casts a glow
the Pyrothags are one I can name.
With a glaes club they swing at
their foe
as you willingly stand toe to toe
oh joy, oh what fun
its a twenty round stun
as the club hits an almighty blow.
With a shard they also like to hit
each shard, each hit, seeking a crit
if your DS is high
and it hits in the eye
then the dust at your feet will be bit.
Other creatures lurk in there I'll
warn
like the Wasps that do like to swarm
if a nest you do rattle
then there'll soon be a battle
and you'll be in need of Firethorn.
With Skayls you will also contend
as Boil Earths towards you they will send
if your pack is too weighty
then fry you will Matey!
and Empaths you'll need for a tend.
Through the gap, Lava Golems await
throwing globs that will soon seal your fate
as your spells start to fizzle
and your armour does sizzle
you'll be needing a fog to the gate.
Cross an igneous bridge lies more
fun
Elementals and Tsarks wait their turn
first they firewave and then
they will pound you again
as you look for somewhere you can run.
Lower down there be Mages and
Sprites
Who they say put up quite a good fight
If you dodge all the clouds
then you'll make the Isle proud
as you clean out the caves with your might.
To you younguns, a warning, take
heed
don't come here without numerous deeds
for too soon will your breath
be snuffed out with a death
and on your bones the Isle creatures will feed
My advice to all those who will
listen
by all means watch the waves as they glisten
take a ride on the "Star"
have an ale at the bar
but reboard the boat as it is leavin!
