Spring has Sprung!
Leaves by Galadriel

Well, it seems now that spring has already sprung a leak and the April showers have turned brightly into May flowers. What a perfect time of the year! The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and even the kobolds appear somewhat more pleasant. It's at this time of the year when young men's passing thoughts turn to love and the full cycle of life can be renewed in all its splendor as ::blush::. Perhaps, I'd best skip that part for the time being. This is after all a family newspaper.

Once again, the trusty staff here at the Elanthian Times has fought back against those pesky kobolds and has succeeded in bringing you a first class paper. We're glad that you've taken a moment from your busy day to enjoy this fine paper. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of our contributors and our staff for all the work that they have put in to this. Without them, none of this would be possible. If you read a particular article or poem or really enjoy the art, please, take the time to write that person a note of thanks or stop them on the street and tell them how much you enjoyed it. Hearing praises for a job well done can be music to the soul.

For those of you that have enjoyed the paper but have not sent in an article, I sincerely encourage you to do so. Be a part of something that will last into history. Claim for yourself your own little piece of immortality by contributing an article or sending us some of your favorite drawings. Without the ongoing support of the citizens this paper cannot flourish, as it is you, the folks of Elanthia, that makes this paper work. Without you, there is no paper and then I've have to hunt again to earn a living and we sure don't want that on our consciences do we now?

In conclusion, I'd like to thank everyone who has made this issue what it is. I'd also like to thank Lady Faelynn for bringing everything together. After all, none of the staff wanted to sleep this past week anyway. ::duck:: Anyway, we wish you the best of the days before you and that they carry you safely until we meet again in the next issue.
